MLS suspended the Rapids' midfielder 10 games today (nine plus the automatic game for a red card) and fined him $5,500 for a late challenge on Seattle's Steve Zakuani, who fractured his fibia and tibia as a result. Afterward, Mullan apologized for the "freak" accident but said "he'd probably do it again."
