The Irish international has joined the star-studded cast of the Los Angeles Galaxy. The addition of Robbie Keane to the Galaxy puts them over the limit for Designated Players, meaning that the Galaxy will have to move one of their DPs within the week. Becks and Landon Donovan aren't going anywhere, but former Red Bulls star, striker, and captain Juan Pablo Angel is rumored to land in Philadelphia or Chivas USA. What this move means for the New York Red Bulls is unclear for now, potentially it means that the Philadelphia Union will add yet another important piece in Angel (though it is uncertain what would be going the other way in the trade). If nothing else it certainly looks like the Galaxy have taken the next aggressive step forward in the arms race for talent between themselves and the Red Bulls. With the Red Bulls playoff hopes rapidly dimming any good news for Philadelphia is bad news for the Red Bulls.
