New York Red Bulls Shut Out of Castrol Index Top Ten for Third Straight Week
Despite the offensive explosion against a depleted Colorado Rapids side, a New York Red Bulls player has yet to crack the top ten of the MLS Castrol Index entering the fourth week of play. At the top of the index are Kei Kamara, David Estrada, and Dominic Oduro, who have all opened the season with strong performances that have led Kansas City, Seattle, and Chicago to start the season undefeated. A favorable match-up against the Montreal Impact on Saturday may be just what Kenny Cooper and Thierry Henry, who already have five goals between them, need to make the top ten for the first time in 2012. Henry finished the 2011 season in third place just behind Chris Wondolowski and Alvaro Fernandez.
