Brandon Barklage was something of a revelation after the team was injury decimated. He stepped in, played well, and almost single-handedly felled his former squad, D.C. United when the teams met earlier this season for their lone Red Bull Arena showdown.
Anyway, as much as we all want to forget the weekend's draw with the New England Revolution, Connor Lade did rack up two yellows and will have to sit out Saturday's game against Toronto FC. So to fill in, here comes Barklage, who fans have been begging Hans Backe to reinsert into the line-up.
As for the rest of the injury report, Rafael Marquez figures to be out for two weeks after a hamstring injury felt in the first half against the Revs. Roy Miller, the oft-derided left back, was injured while with Costa Rica and still figures to be out. Digao also picked up a hamstring injury.
