Bradley Wright-Phillips Signs

It's official, the former Manchester City forward is a Red Bull.

A little more than a month ago Bradley Wright-Phillips started a trial with the Red Bulls.

Today, the team announced his signing.

Wright-Phillips, half-brother of Shaun Wright-Phillips, looks like he's got some speed and a nose for goal. Wright-Phillips was last with Charlton Athletic, and spent a chunk of last season on loan with Brentford.

Here's Andy Roxburgh's take on the signing, via the team's official statement...

"Since Bradley's potential was first recognized by Manchester City and the England's Under-20 side, he has proved to be a goal scorer of note, whether playing up front or as a winger. We are delighted to sign him," said Red Bulls Sporting Director Andy Roxburgh. "He will certainly add another dimension to our roster with his pace and technical ability."
