PRO, PRSA Come to Agreement

PRO and the referees' union has come to an agreement.

Since we wrote about it here, it's worth a mention that PRO and the referees' union, the PRSA, have come to an agreement and that the usual referees will return to work.

In classic MLS style, terms weren't disclosed, but it's understood the new CBA is a five-year deal and federal mediators were called in to broker the deal.

As we've mentioned before, this doesn't mean an end to questionable refereeing, especially since, in some cases, the replacement/scab refs were just as good as their unionized counterparts. But maybe with a little more security the refereeing will get better.

Here's hoping.
