Hi everyone, first I'd like to apologize for the lack of posts. I had some family things to deal with and have been in between jobs which drew my attention away from the blog. Said issues have been resolved, so I'm back.
The game last night was a fantastic showing for our team. The line-up had some nice changes to provide younger legs with Tony Tchani at midfield and Carlos Mendes in place of Mike Petke. I like the move to add Mendes on defense as he's shown an ability to play very well and shut down attacking opposition. The rest of the line-up was essentially the same as we have always used.
Yesterday was the 11th multiple goal game for Juan Pablo Angel, which now makes him the record holder, smashing Giovanni Savarese's previous record of 10 games. Salou Ibrahim earned himself the third and final goal of the game. Bouna Coundoul also recorded his second straight clean sheet and became the first keeper to have two assists in one game. Think about that for a second, Bouna assisted two of the goals. Only in soccer.
I'll have the finalized grades for the halfway mark up by the end of the day for the midfield and attack.
