Thoughts after the jump...

It seems the MLS is finally sorting itself out as far as elite teams and teams who don't belong. The Seattle Sounders have to be one of the more disappointing teams this year. The expectations coming into the season were that they'd be one of the top teams in the league with a solid chance at competing for the MLS Cup. Philadelphia has performed well some games but terribly in other, but that is understandable as they are an incredibly young team.

The Red Bulls are playing better than anyone could have imagined but have had a relatively easy schedule thus far. This weekend is the last time until October where the team will play "bottom tiered teams" with the Philadelphia Union and New England Revolution closing out our season. I'm hoping we can have some momentum with a win over DC United since the rest of July is an away game against Columbus and then the New York Football Challenge with the month closing with an away game versus Houston.
