Thierry Henry Injured, Kevin Hartman NOT Fined!!!

GET UP YOU FAKER! YOU INJURED HENRY! NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND!!!
GET UP YOU FAKER! YOU INJURED HENRY! NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND!!!

Perhaps the most mind boggling story today, Thierry Henry is out with an injury to his MCL and will most likely not play this Friday against L.A. The injury is said to be caused by Kevin Hartman's foot while Henry was trying to celebrate Ballouchy's goal and give a fan a ball to remember the game. The internet blew up yesterday with representatives of the media section for Real Salt Lake demanding Henry get suspended for kicking the ball, as they felt his fine of $2000 was not enough for such a transgression. Meanwhile, Kevin Hartman skates by without getting blamed for anything and gets to settle into the role of "victim".

The good news is that initial reports may not be accurate. Thierry may in fact be able to play this weekend and show the L.A. team what it means to be playing against one of the greatest players of all time. TITI is not a dirty player the obvious culprit is Hartman. The league has now set a precedent of not fining goal keepers that they feel are the elite of the league.

The MLS is now in a terrible position where one of the star players will likely be unable to participate in the biggest television game of the year. The league is now put in a precarious position where they have sent a message that trying to give a ball to a fan yields a $2000 fine, but a goal keeper attacking the knee of an opposing player goes without punishment.
