The New York Red Bulls are back in action this evening against Sporting Kansas City at Red Bull Arena. Back-to-back wins sent the Red Bulls top of the Eastern Conference until last night, when Houston took over first place by drubbing DC United 4-1. If you have some time to kill before this game, you'll want to check out the highlights from that hilarity. The defending on the last goal was particularly brilliant.

New York can take top spot in the East back with a win over Kansas City, who haven't won since opening day. As I mentioned in the match preview, their potent attack has been off-set by awful defending, which the Red Bulls will (hopefully) be able to take advantage of tonight.

Lineups:

Red Bulls: Bouna Coundoul; Jan Gunnar Solli, Rafael Marquez, Tim Ream, Roy Miller; Dane Richards, Dwayne De Rosario, Teemu Tainio, Joel Lindpere; Luke Rodgers, Thierry Henry

Bench: Greg Sutton, Carl Robinson, Stephen Keel, Carlos Mendes, Juan Agudelo, Mehdi Ballouchy

KC: Jimmy Nielsen, Michael Harrington, Julio Cesar, Aurelien Collin, Korede Aiyegbusi, Stephane Auvray, Davy Arnaud, Graham Zusi, CJ Sapong, Kei Kamara, Teal Bunbury

Bench: Eric Kronberg, Roger Espinoza, Craig Rocastle, Milos Stojcev, Ryan Smith, Kevin Ellis, Matt Besler

The game is on MSG for those of you not heading out to the Cathedral of Football, and kickoff is at 7:30. Let's go Red Bulls!
