After eight days off, the New York Red Bulls are back in action this evening as they visit the Portland Timbers at Jeld-Wen Field to begin a tough week of three road games. Dwayne De Rosario returns to the Red Bulls' starting XI in place of Luke Rodgers, who missed out on the trip due to plantar fascitis (similar to a heel spur). Portland has two former New York players in their squad, as Jeremy Hall gets a start and Kevin Goldthwaite is on the bench.
