Welcome all to the first posting of a links collection on OnceAMetro. Unfortunately, most of the news related to the Red Bulls right now is melancholy after that dismal performance on Saturday. If anyone has other types of news they'd like me to look for, just post a note in the comments below. Also, since "Running With The Bulls" is already taken, if anyone has a better name for this series, drop that off as well.
The Red Bulls Somehow Cannot Score against DC United.
The official recap if you have the stomach for it.

A great write-up from our comrades at The Viper's Nest.
Meh. It's an honor, but All-Star games in any sport are kind of lame. Everybody just wants to have fun and not get hurt.
If you consider yourself a soccer fan, you hopefully managed to watch this match. It was unequivocably one of the best games I've ever seen. It had everything good AND bad about the sport. Horrible officiating and embarassing gamesmanship, but also terrific skill, unbelievable passion, and edge-of-your-seat tension as the US women threw assault after assault at the injury-faking castle walls of the Samba Queens. And when Megan Rapinoe put a cross into a space the size of a dinner plate for Abby Wambach's thundering header, I yelled as loud as I did for Landycake's score against Algeria.
The USMNT Faces A Familiar Foe For Fashionable Friendly.
As much fun as hating on El Tri is, wouldn't you rather see a different type of opponent for our friendlies? I'm pretty sure I would.
Transfer Rumors. Does The Viking Influx Continue?
Not the keeper or defender we may be looking for, but you can never have enough weapons. Although if he isn't a starter, we may never actually see him play.
