In the latest edition of our New York Red Bulls podcast, Matt Conroy and I discuss the Red Bulls' home loss to DC United and their cup defeat against the Chicago Fire. We also look ahead to the upcoming games against Chivas USA and the Colorado Rapids.

We pick over some of the possible reasons for New York's defeat against DC, the possible effects of the big win over Toronto FC a few days before, discuss the Red Bulls' problems in big games, and look at Hans Backe's reluctance to rotate players and the effect that had on the US Open Cup exit. We also talk about the arrival of Frank Rost, which one of Bouna Coundoul and Greg Sutton will be shown the door, and preview the upcoming trip to Los Angeles and Colorado.
