New York Red Bulls vs. Colorado Rapids: Live Match Thread

I know, Thierry, we're crazy to even bother watching.
I know, Thierry, we're crazy to even bother watching.

Another week, another midweek game: the New York Red Bulls visit the Colorado Rapids tonight to complete a torrid stretch of four weeks in succession with midweek games. Colorado aren't in great shape after losing a crazy 4-3 game on Saturday to the Seattle Sounders, while the Red Bulls are probably pretty tired after a long -- and hot -- run of games.

The New York lineup is identical to the starting XI that drew 0-0 with Chivas USA on Saturday, which doesn't bode well for the Red Bulls' chances of scoring. Conor Casey's injury keeps him out of the Rapids' team, but Omar Cummings can certainly cause problems for the New York backline. Teemu Tainio picked up an injury during warmups, so Mehdi Ballouchy replaces him in the starting XI -- leaving New York with just a five-man bench.

Lineups

Red Bulls: Frank Rost; Jan Gunnar Solli, Carlos Mendes, Tim Ream, Roy Miller; Dane Richards, Mehdi Ballouchy, Dax McCarty, Joel Lindpere; Juan Agudelo, Thierry Henry

Subs: Bouna Coundoul, Stephen Keel, Tyler Lassiter, Chris Albright, John Rooney, Corey Hertzog

Rapids: Matt Pickens, Kosuke Kimura, Tyrone Marshall, Marvell Wynne, Drew Moor, Jeff Larentowicz, Pablo Mastroeni, Wells Thompson, Brian Mullan, Sanna Nyassi, Omar Cummings

Subs: Steward Ceus, Scott Palguta, Ross LaBauex, Joseph Nane, Quincy Amarikwa, Andre Akpan, Caleb Folan
