First Kick 2013: Season Opener, Home Opener Announced

Red Bulls to kick off season at Portland with a home opener against D.C.

Mike Stobe

It looks like the Red Bulls will open their season with two road games, before heading home to the friendly confines of Red Bull Arena.

In a match-up of new-look teams, Thierry Henry & Co. will open Sunday, March 3 against the Portland Timbers in Portland. After either another yet-to-be-announced road game or a week off, the Red Bulls will open their season against D.C. United in a MLS Eastern Conference Semi-Final rematch.

The rest of the list. I'm sure if there's an enterprising Once A Metro reader out there, we could figure out a possible week 2 match-up via process of elimination.
