We already know Josh Saunders won't be between the posts for the LA Galaxy when the Red Bulls head west this weekend, but what looked like a game where (maybe? hopefully?) an injury depleted Red Bulls squad steals a point (or three) with a gutsy performance against a tired Galaxy doesn't seem like the case anymore.
Soccer America reports that none of the Galaxy's designated players -- not Landon Donovan, not David Beckham, not Robbie Keane -- made the trip to the northwest for tonight's game agains the Seattle Sounders. The story says the team doesn't want to chance their star players on Seattle's field turf.
If you remember back to the Galaxy's CONCACAF Champions League tie against Toronto FC back in early March, Keane and Beckham complained about the Roger Centre surface.
