Hans Backe is making his way onto Swedish television, in a way, with TV4.
Big Apple Soccer cites fotbollskanalen.se, TV4 Group's soccer site, that says the silver-haired, sub-averse former Red Bulls coach will be in the studio with Anna Brolin and fotbollskanalen.se Editor Olof Lundh for the upcoming Sweden-Argentina game.
He's also going to be offering his comments on Sweden's upcoming World Cup qualifiers, Europa League and UEFA Champions League matches and for French Ligue 1 and Italy's Serie A. He'll also be a "studio expert" for TV4's coverage of the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
I would say, this is an interesting move for TV4. Backe was always media-friendly, but not always the most...engaging...guy to hear speak, in a way.
Thoughts?
