A Partial List of People and Organizations With Fewer Goals Than Defender Jamison Olave

It's high time we examine the phenomenon of a defender outscoring some of the league's most talented forwards.

When the Andy Roxburgh/Jorge Campos brain trust picked up Jamison Olave, it was to shore up a backline that gave up more goals than all but two Eastern Conference teams (Toronto FC and the Montreal Impact) and all but one playoff team (LA Galaxy). It wasn't for offense. But there he is, the big Colombian centerback, with the most goals on the team and the fifth most in the league.

So at this critical (read: arbitrary) juncture, let's make a list. A list, albeit a partial one, of all the players and teams with fewer goals than Jamison Olave.

Kenny Cooper

Sebastien Le Toux
