Yesterday, Head Coach Mike Petke and star forward Thierry Henry had to be pulled off each other after a heated exchange that saw the Frenchman leave the practice field. Supposedly, they made up after practice, but that bit of reportage didn't seem to quell concerns from the Red Bulls faithful.
Until...
Let's get this out of the way before anyone wonders: Thierry IS at practice. #RBNY

Phew, I was worried there for a second...
Petke and Henry have a nice-looking conversation near midfield. Appears as if everything has been squashed. #RBNY

Alright, good, it was just a flash in the pan. No big deal.
Henry ends practice mainly w 2nd team. How indicative that is of his status, don't know, but other starters, like Espindola joined him #RBNY

OH GOD IT'S OVER WE'RE DONE THAT'S SO METRO HENRY CLEARLY DOESN'T CARE PETKE IS AWFUL KIDNAP DE BONTIN'S FAMILY DRAW AND QUARTER ROXBURGH
Petke played down heated exchange w Henry, saying both are very passionate people and that they are fine, chatted today at practice. #RBNY

Alright, maybe not.
Basically, it's business as usual at Red Bulls practice this morning, at least if Dickinson, Pazio and Martinez have anything to say about it. Some things are going to look a bit different now under the microscope but that doesn't mean two adults, on an active professional athlete, the other a retired one, can't put it past them. Sports, and relationships in general, are funny that way.
