Vote for Thierry Henry: 2014 MLS Goal of the Year - FINAL

The captain can still win this thing. Once more unto the breach...

Brad Mills-USA TODAY Sports

VOTE FOR THE CAPTAIN!

This is it: the final stage of MLS's marathon Goal of the Year competition. Sixty-four goals have been painstakingly whittled down to one last group of four.

You, treasured reader, have blisters on your fingers from the yeoman's work of mouse-clicking Thierry Henry to this stage. And Dax McCarty to the semi-finals. And Bradley Wright-Phillips to the round before that.

But there is one more round of voting to go, so please summon whatever strength you require to vote for the captain!

In case you need reminder, it was a special goal: conjured out of nothing against Sporting Kansas City, at a time when most thought KC was a pretty good team rather than the tired, huddled mass that played RBNY at the end of the season.

As for the rest of the nominees: they're all great. But they weren't scored by Thierry Henry.

Vote for Henry!

Don't forget to give yourself the chance to win tickets to the MLS Cup final.

And vote again! You have until 11:59 pm on Wednesday, November 26 to make your vote(s) count.
