As we are in the middle of the holiday season, it's time to take stock of what we have and ask what we want for the 2015 New York Red Bulls. We put the question to everyone out on our Twitter feed and Facebook page.
What's on your @NewYorkRedBulls holiday wishlist? A #10? A Center Back? What do you want? #RBNY

We got a few answers that make up a good start.
@Once_A_Metro Yes to Mix D., No to Gerrard.

@Once_A_Metro @NewYorkRedBulls I miss Holgy

@Once_A_Metro @NewYorkRedBulls A good, strong back line. Center back would be a good start.

@Once_A_Metro @NewYorkRedBulls Luke Rodgers

Getting Luke Rodgers and Markus "Holgy" Holgersson back might be asking a little too much, but it never hurts to dream. Mix Diskerud would be a good addition to any MLS club, but he's been linked recently with a move to Mexico & Liga MX. A solid back line has to be near the top of the list. The Red Bulls gave up 50 goals in the regular season, tied with Seattle for the most goals against for a playoff team.
The other big need will be a play maker to link the defense to the offense. Peguy Luyindula is a good presence for the Red Bulls, but he's not a natural #10, having played as a forward for most of his career before coming to New York. The Red Bulls will be trying to find a player to take on the role of now retired Thierry Henry. They'll want to go young though to help build for future years.
