MLS is starting the "Chipotle Homegrown Game" as part of the 2014 All-Star festivities. The New York Red Bulls' Connor Lade has been selected as one of six defenders to play on the Homegrown team. The game will take place on August 4th at 10 pm, and can be watched on-line on WatchESPN or MLSSoccer.com. The Homegrown Team will take on the Portland Timbers U-23 team, which plays as part of the USL PDL Western Conference, and currently has a 4-4-4 record.
The full roster for the Homegrown team is:
