Thierry Henry isn't the New York Red Bulls all-time leading scorer - that is Juan Pablo Angel, and likely to stay that way for some time - but he is the club's second-highest goal scorer of all time. And on Saturday, September 6, 2014, he became just the second player in the team's history to score 50 goals in all competitions.
Fittingly, it was one of his best:
The goal also makes RBNY the club for which Henry has scored the second greatest number of goals in his career. No, he's not going to threaten his Arsenal record (228 in all competitions), but he left Monaco with 28, left Juventus having scored three times, and left Barcelona with 49.
Thank you, Titi. We needed that (Seriously, three points was vital). Stick around so we can share a few more of these moments, eh?
