Report: Brandon Allen Not Signing RBNY Homegrown Deal Yet

The talented striker is returning for his senior year at Georgetown.

There were recent rumors that Brandon Allen was going to sign a Homegrown contract with the New York Red Bulls. Kristian Dyer is throwing a cold bucket of water on those rumors.

BigAppleSoccer.com, however, has learned that Allen is not coming out from college and intends to complete his senior season as Georgetown as well as get his degree. He has not signed a deal with the club.

A team source said that the Red Bulls believe Allen would benefit from another year in college before going pro. The report is not accurate and there are no indications that he will come out early, according to the source.

Looks like we're waiting another year for Allen to turn pro. Take it away, Barry.
