NWSL Draft 2015: Sky Blue FC picks New Jersey's Daphne Corboz

Attaching midfielder from Georgetown University is third-round pick. University of Maryland's Shade Pratt also selected.

Georgetown University's Daphne Corboz is coming home to New Jersey. Corboz was the third-round pick of the Sky Blue FC in Friday's National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) college draft in Philadelphia.  She was the 22nd overall pick.

Corboz will leave  Georgetown's at the all-time leader in points and goals. She set the single-season Georgetown assist record this season with 18 assists, a tie for the third best record in the country.

A graduate of Watchung Hills High School, Corboz was a  two-time All-American at Georgetown and was named one of 16 Missouri Athletic Club (MAC) Hermann Trophy semifinalists.

With the 25th pick overall, the Sky Blue selected the University of Maryland's Shade Pratt. Pratt was a two-sport athlete at Maryland, running the 400 meters in track and manning the backline for the Terps on the pitch. Her speed and athleticism will surely help the Sky Blue.
