New York Red Bulls sign Leo Stolz

The third new signing of this off-season has been announced...

Rob Kinnan-USA TODAY Sports

It was effectively announced at the RBNY Town Hall, when Ali Curtis said he expected the New York Red Bulls' top 2015 Super Draft pick, Leo Stolz, to sign with the club in "24-48 hours".

And just in case we didn't gather it was important, Jesse Marsch took a moment to provide more information after the event.

And since we still weren't apparently getting excited enough, Curtis Marsch de Grandpre "sources" gave Ives Galarcep the news that a contract had been signed.

And even that did not appear to have the desired effect, so RBNY has gone ahead and officially announced the latest addition to its roster for 2015 - and the first new signing since December 11 - Leo Stolz.

The club has transparently been in need of good news recently, and perhaps never before has it been so transparent in an effort to get good news out.

Welcome aboard, Leo. Looking forward to watching you play.
