Bonomo's Trial with Miedź Legnica Ends without Offer

According to Sport.PL, Bonomo's trial has been ended after not impressing the coaching staff.

The coaching staff was not satisfied with his performance against Sleza and he has received a trial offer from English club Sheffield, so there was no reason to keep him because the prospects for engagement were small. "We expect to sign a striker with a much higher level of skill, " explained club president Andrew Dadello.

Bonomo played in the second half of a friendly against Sleza Wroclaw that Miedz Legnica won, 2-0.

The striker from UC Berkeley went "straight to England" for a trial with Sheffield (F.C.? United? Wednesday?).

The New York Red Bulls have yet to comment on Bonomo's absence from training camp in Florida.
