Welcome to our two newest contributors

A few weeks ago, we announced that we here at Once a Metro are reinforcing our goal of being the best fan-centric site for coverage of the New York Red Bulls and Sky Blue FC. Today we continue those efforts as I am pleased to introduce two new authors to the Once a Metro staff.

First we have Anthony Ali. Anthony has written for Through It All Together, the Leeds United SB Nation blog. He's also written for Rossoneriblog, an AC Milan news site. A New Jersey native, he has been a lifelong Metro fan. Anthony is joining us to help cover the Red Bulls on a weekly basis.

Second, we have Tom Slater. Tom has been involved in soccer for many years on every level possible, including journalist, player, coach, administrator and referee. He covered New Jersey's high school and college soccer for the Asbury Park Press and was a freelance writer for several national publications. He currently coaches U8 and U16 girls teams in Hamilton, New Jersey, where he is president of the Hamilton Girls Soccer Club. Tom is joining us to help bring coverage back to Sky Blue FC.
