We've been waiting weeks for the 2015 MLS schedule to be released. We were teased back in December when the dates for the first home game of the season was announced. MLS trolled us all again at the end of December by telling us when the schedule would be released. Well, today it's officially released! Here are the key dates for the New York Red Bulls.
March 8 - The Red Bulls' Season Opener will take place as they visit Sporting Kansas City. It'll be their only match up against Sporting in 2015 as conference realignment will take Sporting to the Western Conference. It will be the Red Bulls 4th straight season starting on the road.
March 22 - The Red Bulls open up Red Bull Arena by hosting rival D.C. United. The last time that the Red Bulls hosted D.C. in their home opener (Petke's first home match as coach), the match ended in a 0-0 draw.
April 11 - The Red Bulls travel down to D.C. for their only match at RFK during the regular season.
April 26 - The Red Bulls will not have to face Steven Gerrard this year unless it's in MLS Cup as they'll be hosting the LA Galaxy early on this year.
May 2 - The Red Bulls will look to avenge their 2014 Eastern Conference Final loss as they visit Gillette Stadium and the New England Revolution.
May 10 - The first ever match against New York City FC will be held at Red Bull Arena, and won't feature Frank Lampard.
June 5-20 - The Red Bulls usual June break will take place between playing the Houston Dynamo for the only time all year (in Houston) and hosting the Vancouver Whitecaps.
June 28 - The Red Bulls will play for the first time ever at Yankee Stadium as they visit New York City FC.
July 4 - Once again the Red Bulls will not get a home game on July 4th. This time, they won't be travelling out to Colorado as they'll be taking on the Columbus Crew.
July 19 - The Red Bulls face off against the other expansion team, Orlando City SC, for the first time ever in Orlando.
September 25 - The Red Bulls will host Orlando City SC for the first time.
October 18 - The Red Bulls finish off their home campaign against the Philadelphia Union.
October 25 - The Red Bull head to Chicago to finish off the year at Toyota Park. In 2013, the Red Bulls beat Chicago 5-2 on the very last day of the season to clinch the Supporter's Shield.
