Sky Blue FC lost two players in today's National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) expansion draft, one a starter and another a backup.
Starting defender Cami Levin and backup goalkeeper Aubrey Bledsoe were picked by the Orlando Pride in today's expansion draft. Levin was selected with the sixth pick and Bledsoe with the 10th and final selection.
Levin has been with Sky Blue FC for the last two years and has been a steady performer on the backline.
Bledsoe played just eight minutes in her first NWSL season. She is currently playing overseas with Fortuna Hjorring with Danish international and Sky Blue FC striker Nadia Nadim.
To no one's surprise, Orlando picked Meghan Klingenberg from Seattle and Ashlyn Harris, a goalkeeper from Washington. Klingenberg was then traded to Portland to complete the Alex Morgan deal that began a few weeks ago.
