They were the last club in the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) to do so but the Sky Blue FC finally made an off-season move. However, fans won't see the benefits of today's trade until the new year - at the very earliest.

Sky Blue FC  completed a trade with the Houston Dash that gave Houston the rightsto forward Chioma Ubogagu, a draft pick that never saw the pitch at Yurcak Field last summer. Sky Blue  received a fourth-round pick (No. 36 overall) in  January's 2016 NWSL College Draft and natural third-round pick in the 2017 NWSL College Draft from the Dash

Ubogagu was the 29th played selected in the fourth round of 2015 NWSL College Draft. She played her college ball at Stanford University  and played this past season with Arsenal Ladies of The FA Women's Super-League.

By adding a second fourth round pick, Sky Blue FC will now have five overall selections in the 2016 NWSL College Draft, which will take place at the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Convention in Baltimore on Friday, Jan. 15. The draft will be held at the Baltimore Convention Center and will be open to the public and media.
