Happy Thanksgiving from Once a Metro

May your footballs be round and your turkeys stuffed.

Thanksgiving is a odd holiday. It's the time of year we give thanks for the things we have, by celebrating with floats in parades and family games of football (the other kind). Yea, there's sometimes thinking back to the 1700s when the earliest people from England came over and started what would become the United States of America.

This Thanksgiving, we here at Once a Metro won't be doing a lot of posts as we'll be spending time with our families, but that doesn't mean we can't wish you one. So wherever you are and however you are celebrating this holiday, from all of us at Once a Metro, we wish you a happy Thanksgiving. Also, good luck if your NFL team/fantasy players are in action today.

May your Thanksgiving include the right type of football, a weekend trouncing of Columbus Crew SC, and thanks that we're not D.C. United fans.
