The Red Bulls announced the name of their USL (formerly USL Pro) franchise, and it's the ever creative "New York Red Bulls 2". This wasn't the originally planned name of the team, but things fell through, so they defaulted to the MLS-USL backup. Who wants any original name anyway...

Sacha Kljestan officially introduced

The Red Bulls officially introduced Kljestan during a press conference at Red Bull Arena this week. If you are so inclined, you can sit through the 35 minute session.

Ticket Sales

The Red Bulls have sold 9,500 season tickets for 2015. Is that good or bad? It's hard to tell these days.

Transfer Rumors

The Red Bulls keep being linked to transfers from European clubs, but nothing ever comes of them. I think we're seeing a pattern here.

Players Leaving

Players being waived, or retiring of their own volition is not uncommon. Retiring to be a coach with the same organization is rare though.
