To recap, Stefano Bonomo was selected with the 39th pick of the 2015 SuperDraft by the New York Red Bulls.
Subsequently, and surprisingly, he turned up in Poland, on trial with Miedz Legnica, a club in the second tier of Polish football. By the end of January, he'd left Poland, and it was said he had gone to Sheffield, in England. We never did find out whether that was true.
By the beginning of March, he was in Italy, on trial with SPAL. And now, per Telestense.it and the magic of Google Translate, it would appear he is not.
Meanwhile, to remember that there was no agreement with the Italian-American striker Stefano Bonomo, remained in the test a couple of weeks.
It may be recalled, back in early March, RBNY head coach Jesse Marsch said he didn't think "that story is quite finished yet" on the subject of Bonomo's relationship with the club that drafted his MLS playing rights.
OaM continues to follow the story.
