Report: Zlatan Ibrahimovic's agent says player not leaving PSG (No move to MLS)

His agent threw a cold bucket of water on any potential movement.

Presse Sports-USA TODAY Sports

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is staying at Paris Saint-Germain, according to his agent.

Despite rumors that the Swedish striker would be leaving the French club in the summer, Ibrahimovic's agent, Mino Raiola, claims that he will not be leaving France despite a recent suspension.

Raiola added: "He won't leave France because of this suspension. It's not that which will make him leave. He's much stronger than that. He has fought all his life against people who don't know him and want to judge him. He always says, 'Only God can judge me'. He will perhaps become even more of a warrior, because the more you make war on Zlatan, the more Zlatan will make war."

Ibrahimovic had been linked with a move to Major League Soccer after being seen getting a working visa at the U.S. embassy in Paris. He is currently serving a four match suspension for insulting officials after a loss to Bordeaux. He still has a year left on his contract, and the 33 year old has scored 28 goals in all competitions for PSG this season.

Odds-makers have Zlatan staying with PSG listed at even money with his next most likely destination being Major League Soccer (with particular credence being given to the New York Red Bulls). I'm not sure what relevance odds are to a situation like this, but I'm sure some people care.

Do you think Zlatan will stay at PSG? Do you want him in MLS?
