The big news for New York Red Bulls fans is that the team looks to be one of the entrants. Other teams that seem to be involved include:
- Manchester United (Defending 2014 Champions) - Barclay's Premiere League
- FC Barcelona - La Liga
- Paris Saint-Germain - Ligue 1
- Chelsea - Barclay's Premiere League
- FC Porto - Primeria Liga
- Club America - Liga MX
- ACF Fiorentina - Serie A
- New York Red Bulls - Major League Soccer
- LA Galaxy - Major League Soccer
- San Jose earthquakes - Major League Soccer
The announcement of the participants is supposed to happen today, so it's very likely this is the final set of participants. If so, this could be the friendly that the Red Bulls cleared their schedule a few weeks ago.
