Buy 'Em or Bag 'Em Week 8: West Meets East

The New York Red Bulls were able to stay unbeaten this weekend, but their next game is going to be a big test.  The LA Galaxy make their way to Red Bull Arena on Sunday 4/26.  LA is always a tough competitor for NY, so this should be one of the good games to watch this weekend, and the nationally televised event of the top two American media markets should get a lot of eyeballs.

My recommendation is to buy Dax McCarty.  He is going to be the key to victory for RB.  He will have his work cut out for him, helping to defend Robbie Keane, while keeping Juninho and Rafael Garcia in check, AND distributing to Sacha Kljestan and Lloyd Sam to start the RB attack. If RBNY are able to control midfield as much as they have been, he will rack up the fantasy points.

On the opposite side of the coin, bag Chris Duvall... FAST.  In last September's 4-0 dubbing against LA, Landon Donovan was able to record a goal and three assists coming from left midfield.  Damien Perrinelle and Matt Miazga are going to have their hands full against Keane and Gyasi Zardes, so Duvall is going to be on an island trying to defend the LA attack.  Sam may have to help out, which could stall his ability to get forward for RB.
