The Rochester Rhinos are off to a hot start to their season, starting 3-0-2. The Baby Bulls will have their hands full taking on the legendary minor league club in their home opener. Rochester head coach Bob Lilley's clubs are described as "blue collar," and the description appears apt. The Rhinos have only given up two goals so far this season. Alex Dixon and Christian Volesky lead the way with two goals.
The Baby Bulls (1-2-2) are coming off a 1-0 loss to Richmond. Keeper Santiago Castano has been mixing moments of brilliance with youthful inexperience that has led to two conceded penalties and a red card. Does John Wolyniec turn to capable backup Rafi Diaz or does the promise and potential that could be attained by developing Castano keep the Academy graduate in net?
New York Red Bulls II will probably be missing the fringe MLS/USL players due to the MLS match against Los Angeles being played later on today. Will Sean Davis and Anatole Abang make the trip up to Rochester? Unless fans find out via social media, they won't know until the starting lineup is released.
