The New York Red Bulls had the luxury of watching their future opponents duke it out this week as they prepare to take on D.C. United in their next game. Luckily, they already played against this week's top performer.
Benny Feilhaber (SKC, MID; 12 points): Feilhaber produced assists for the first and last goals during Sporting Kansas City's stoppage time triumph over the Philadelphia Union 3-2. Feilhaber was this week's best MLS Fantasy performer, adding 1 bonus point for defending and 3 for attacking.
Sebastian Giovinco (TOR, MID; 11 points): In a bit of a shocker, Toronto FC lost to the Chicago Fire 3-2. Giovinco tallied a goal and assist, but then watched his team give away a 2-1 advantage in the second half.
Nat Borchers (POR, DEF; 10 points): Borchers scored a goal in the 23rd minute to help power the Portland Timbers over FC Dallas 3-1. FCD came into the week as the number 1 ranked team in the current Power Rankings.
Bobby Shuttleworth (NE, GK; 8 points): Shuttleworth continued the Colorado Rapids woes when the New England Revolution blanked them 2-0. Just because Colorado has not scored in 6 months, doesn't mean they aren't trying. Shuttleworth registered 5 saves in the win.
