Match Predictions: New York Red Bulls vs Philadelphia Union

Can the Red Bulls extend the Union's winless streak at Red Bull Arena?

Greg Bartram-USA TODAY Sports

Aaron Bauer: 3-1 Win

What even is a Philadelphia Union anyway?

Anthony Ali: 3-0 Win

This is the game where the Red Bulls finally score more than two goals. With the way the defense has been playing, they'll most likely keep a shutout against a Philly side that has struggled offensively. Ultimately, the difference in quality is going to decide the game.

Austin Fido: 4-0 Win

Time for a big home win.

Frank Maduri: 2-0 Win

The Red Bulls will ride high into this match off their performance in Texas. The club plays well at home and is hosting a Philly side that has struggled overall this season to put the ball in the back of the net. I think the high press attack will be too much for the Union to handle and RBNY win this one to improve their hold on the top of the table in the East.

JasonRBNY: RBNY 3-0 Win

Red Bulls should win this one because they're the better side, their oft-changing backline is starting to gel, I've sacrificed a live goat to the altar of my ancestors, and the Red Bulls have never lost to Philly at Red Bull Arena. So put this down as a likely victory!

Lester Townsend: 0.5 - 0 Win

Robert Celentano: 2-1 Win

RBNY has been looking quite good giving all the obstacles they have faced. Coming off a tough game against Dallas, I see New York coming away with a win this Sunday in the Arena. This rivalry is always a fun one to watch, so be on the lookout for some goals or at least, hopefully more than we saw last week.

Shiloh Grayson: 3-2 Loss

I'm in 14th Place on Red Bull Rant prediction big board.  Want to keep it that way.

Steve Toto: 4-1 Win

All signs point to a big win for RBNY.  RBNY have the best home record in MLS over the past 3 years and are unbeaten this year; Philly hasn't won on the road yet.  Philly is starting their 3rd keeper of the season and will be missing their best defenseman, midfielder and possibly striker.  Also, Philly's win last week was a fluke.  So I think RBNY will come out flying it hit them hard.  Prediction: BWP scores two, Sam has a goal and two assists.  And why the hell not.... Felipe gets in on the action and scores his second of the season.
