Luis Robles did not win MLS Save of Week 14

Robles is a perfect 0 for 7 in SotW this year...

Thomas B. Shea-USA TODAY Sports

Week 14 brought the seventh MLS Save of the Week nomination in 2015 for New York Red Bulls' 'keeper Luis Robles. And his seventh not-win.

This not-win was at least better than that of Week 13, when Robles attracted 11.26% of the vote and finished fifth out of five nominees. This week, the RBNY stopper had 17.16% of the vote and a solid third-place in the final standings. D.C. United's Andrew Dykstra won for saving a penalty against Chicago Fire.

The Red Bulls' bye week in Week 15 brings Robles some respite from the ritual of not-winning MLS Save of the Week. And we hope, of course, that his next match sees the back line step up and prevent the 'keeper from even being nominated in Week 16. A clean-sheet achieved because the other side achieved no shots on target would be just the tonic the slumping Red Bulls need.

Until then, enjoy the latest example of the work of Luis Robles to win some SotW attention.
