After going an impressive 18-1-5 during the regular season, the New York Red Bulls Academy U-14s headed to the Grand Park Sports Campus in Westfield, Indiana to compete in the U.S. Soccer Development Academy National Showcase. Unlike the U-16s and the U-18s, the U-14s do not have playoffs at the end of the season.

The U-14s lost their first match at the showcase to the LA Galaxy, 4-2. Danny Jara put the Red Bulls up in the 16th minute. The Galaxy responded with four straight goals before Elijah Kerr added a consolation goal in the 77th minute.

They tied their second match against Michigan power club Vardar, 3-3. The Red Bulls closed out their season with a 6-1 thumping of the San Jose Earthquakes Academy.

(Apologies for not having more details on the final two matches.)

The U-14s are led by manager Jeff Zuan and assistants Kobie Johnson and Vadim Kirillov under the guidance of technical director Bob Montgomery. During the regular season, the club's leading scorers were Jack Valderrrabano (20 goals), Benjamin Mines (10 goals), Valentino Ambrosio (9 goals), and Thriston Briscoe (8 goals). They also feature United States youth national team players Alex Rando (goalkeeper), and Julian Kraidelman (defender), Pablo Arias (midfielder), Kejiel Watt (striker).

The Development Academy season begins again in the fall.
