The latest news on Ronaldinho has him headed to Vasco da Gama. At least, club president Eurico Miranda is cheerfully telling ESPN Brasil that "project Ronaldinho Vasco" is "90%" complete.
Dinho inspires club presidents to say a lot of things. Queretaro's said he wasn't going anywhere. Antalyaspor's was quite confident the Brazilian would at least be discussing a move to Turkey. Ronaldinho's movements are not easy to predict, even for club presidents.
But Vasco has been linked to Dinho for a while now, and is starting to look a lot like the last club standing. Well done, Vasco.
Will the 35-year-old be retiring in Brazil? Not according to some reports. Whispers carried by the Brazilian press suggest the plan is for Vasco to serve merely as a stepping stone: the contract will be for six months and then Ronaldinho will move on - to MLS.
The rumor mill moves fast where Dinho is concerned, but keep an eye on reports regarding his next contract - specifically its duration, since that will provide some clue as to whether he really does have an eye on yet another club for next year.
