The New York Red Bulls U23s played their second match of their DMV road trip on Sunday, tying the D.C. United U23s, 3-3.

D.C. opened the scoring in the 21st minute when Jeremy Ebobisse put in a rebound off a Collin Bonner shot. Brian White (PDA/Duke) tied things up in the 27th minute and Alex Muyl (Red Bulls Academy/Georgetown) put the Baby Bulls ahead two minutes later. Zach Knudson (PDA/NC State) doubled the lead in the 32nd minute after beating the D.C. keeper to the ball and slotting it home.

Ebobisse scored his second goal of the match in the 62nd minute, beating keeper Evan Louro (Red Bulls Academy/Michigan) in the 62nd minute, cutting the Red Bulls' lead. D.C. completed their comeback in the 88th minute, with Bonner converting a penalty kick.

The two teams previously drew 1-1 earlier in the season, but the Red Bulls were awarded a 3-0 forfeit win after D.C. were found to have used an ineligible player.

Here are the current standings in the PDL Mid Atlantic Division. The top three teams make the playoffs.

The U23s' next match is on Wednesday, July 1st versus the division leading Long Island Rough Riders at the Red Bull Training Facility.

Following the match against the Rough Riders, they finish the regular season with matches against Reading United, the Jersey Express, and the Westchester Flames. To put it in perspective, the U23s final matches are against three teams in the playoff hunt and one of the worst teams in the division. So they control their own destiny which is good. Once a Metro will keep you updated on their drive to the playoffs and beyond.
