The last match of the group stage in Toulon 2015 is also the USA U-23 Men's National Team's chance to absolutely, positively confirm the identity of its opponent for its third-place playoff match on June 7.
That opponent will not be China, for whom this last group stage game is a chance to salvage some pride: all three games played in Toulon to date have been lost; no goals scored, eight conceded - the Chinese have not had a great time in France on this trip.
This China U-23 squad includes some bright prospects, perhaps most notably, Wei Shihao, who attracted the interest of Ajax in 2012 and joined Portugal's Boavista in 2013.
England's team in Toulon is drawn from the U-20 age group. It includes some highly-rated young players attached to Premier League clubs, such as Chelsea's Lewis Baker and John Swift, Aston Villa's Callum Robinson, and Arsenal's Chuba Akpom.
Since every other team in the group has beaten China, England will be expected to as well. And three points will see the young Lions either leapfrog Morocco (if its result against Mexico was a draw or a loss) or challenge Mexico (if Morocco won the match against El Tri that precedes this one) for second-place in the group.
Either way, the best England can hope for is second in Group B - which would make it the team set to play USMNT in the tournament's third-place playoff.
And England will control its destiny in that regard: if Morocco loses or ties Mexico, then England clinches second n Group B with a win; if Morocco beats Mexico, then England must beat China by sufficient goals to better El Tri's goal difference.
There will be something to play for here regardless: pride for China, a place in the next round for England. And for USA fans who want to keep an eye on the game and be among the first to learn the U-23s' opponent in the next round, here's how to watch:
