Last time Sky Blue went up against Seattle, it was a game full of drama. Sky Blue dramatically came back from a 1-0 deficit in the 89th minute. A chaotic scrum in front of the box and Jess Fishlock deemed to handle the ball on the line. The result was a penalty for Nadia Nadim, which she slotted away, and a straight red card for Fishlock. Is there any bad blood? We'll see tonight.
Sky Blue hopes to get their second win of the season and hopefully spark their dormant offense. They've yet to score more than one goal in a game. In fact, only three players have scored all year for Sky Blue. While offensively the team has been improving, the team has also been held winless since defeating FC Kansas City the first week of the season. Seattle, which was by far the most dominant team last year, is a more than worthy opponent.
