Lloyd Sam had a goal and an assist against the Revolution, while Young Matt Miazga made many key defensive stops to help New York to a 4-1 win.
Bradley Wright-Phillips made the bench, after scoring two goals and adding in as assist against the Revs.
While Giovinco's hat trick and David Villa's brace merit inclusion, the staff here at Once a Metro certainly feel that BWP's dominant performance merits a starting position among the two stars. Regardless, BWP's 8 goals and 6 assists and the Red Bulls' second place position in the Eastern Conference works as a as consolation prize.
Congratulations to Lloyd and Matt, and hopefully more performances like this will keep happening all season.
