On August 26th, the New York Red Bulls had a shocking loss to the Chicago Fire 3-2. Sixteen days later, the two teams will face each other again. The Red Bulls had a double game week, so some might say they were looking past the Fire towards the D.C. United game four days later (where they defeated DCU 3-0). This time Chicago is the only team set in their sights. I think revenge is in order.
I recommend to buy Damien Perrinelle. When he, Matt Miazga and Dax McCarty are all on the field together, they are undefeated this season. Perrinelle has only played in two of the last five games for RBNY due to yellow card accumulation and serving a two-game ban when he elbowed a player on NYCFC upon his return. He played in their clean sheet against DC, and with three games in hand on them and Columbus, the team is going to turn up the heat to push towards the Eastern Conference crown. You should also buy Miazga and McCarty because of the same reasons.
Bag Roy Miller. Jesse Marsch said he has been sidelined multiple weeks with an injury. Connor Lade and Kemar Lawrence have done enough the last few weeks to stake their claim to starting at outside back. You can also bag Karl Ouimette. All of the other defensemen have been performing well, leaving no room for Karl. Maybe he'll get some playing time on Tuesday when Canada try to finish off Belize in World Cup Qualifying.
