As we are all anxiously awaiting the full regular season schedule from the League office, this coming Thursday we are also awaiting to see which pre-season tournament the Red Bulls will be joining either at Walt Disney World in Florida or possibly in Arizona with that Desert Diamond Classic. But a recent article published by Flagship Footy has reveled that there will be some action before the 2016 regular season begins.

It looks like the NASL's (North American Soccer League) Jacksonville Armada will be hosting two friendly games against MLS opponents as their Central Florida neighbors in Orlando City will head upstate on Wednesday, February 13th & surprisingly the New York Red Bulls will be heading over on Saturday, February 27th.

The last time the New York Red Bulls played in Jacksonville was in 2014 as they took on the Philadelphia Union playing their friendly at Everbank Field, which is the home of the NFL's Jacksonville Jaguars, and took a 2-1 victory before the regular season started.

Of course that game spearheaded the start of the Armada's existence, who are playing their regular season games at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville. Whether this game will be played at the minor league baseball stadium or at Everbank Field, it should be a solid friendly between the Red Bulls and the Armada who have captured the hearts and minds of the natives in Jacksonville and are ready for some more soccer before their 2nd NASL season gets underway.
