Canada should find Morocco - fresh off a 0-0 draw in Gabon in World Cup qualifying - a sterner test than last week's opponent, Mauritania.
What that means for the New York Red Bulls' Karl Ouimette is unclear. The defender got a a few late minutes in the 4-0 win over Mauritania, and may be in line for similar against Morocco.
His loan to Jacksonville Armada is not delivering much playing time at the moment, so Ouimette could use a favor from his national team. A strong appearance against a respected international opponent might boost the defender's reputation for what looks likely to be a January job-search.
If he is going to play his way back into favor at Jacksonville or even RBNY, he is running out of time to do so. This game against Morocco is one of his few remaining opportunities to end this season on a high.
